How to use the members hub

The Members Hub is a simple way to find out what is happening at the Club and how things work.

It is designed to be:

  • easy to read
  • easy to navigate
  • maintained by members

You do not need any technical knowledge to use it.

What You Can Do Here

You can use the Hub to:

  • see what activities and events are available
  • find information about sections and how to join
  • understand how the Club operates
  • read updates and proposals
  • give feedback on working drafts

How the Site is Organised

The Hub is divided into a small number of areas:

  • Members — activities, events, and how to take part
  • Operations — how the Club runs day-to-day
  • Governance — decisions, proposals, and rules

Each area contains pages that are kept up to date by members and volunteers.

Understanding Page Status

Each page is clearly marked:

  • Working Draft — under development and open to feedback
  • Active — current guidance or agreed position
  • Archived — kept for reference only

This helps you understand how to use the information.

Giving Feedback

Some pages allow you to give simple feedback:

  • 👍 Useful
  • 😐 Not sure
  • 👎 Not useful

This helps improve the content and guide decisions.

Keeping Things Simple

The Hub is not a formal system.

It is:

  • built by members
  • improved over time
  • focused on clarity, not complexity

If something is unclear or missing, that is an opportunity to improve it.

Need Help?

If you are unsure how something works, speak to:

  • a committee member
  • a section organiser
  • or the person named on the page

The Hub is there to support members, not replace people.
