Can You Help the Club

The Club depends upon members who are willing to contribute a little of their time, knowledge and enthusiasm.

Not every volunteer needs to join the Committee. Many of the most valuable contributions come from members who simply help with a particular activity, project or area of interest.

Whether you can spare a few hours a month or a few hours a week, there may be a role that suits your skills and interests.

Areas Where Help Is Needed

Communications and Member Information

Help keep members informed by:

• Preparing notices and announcements
• Uploading information and photographs
• Checking website content for accuracy
• Assisting with newsletters and member communications
• Supporting section organisers with publicity

No technical expertise required.

Club Website and Members Hub

Help improve and maintain the Club's online information services:

• Updating pages and documents
• Uploading photographs
• Checking links and information
• Helping members find information
• Suggesting improvements

Training and support available.

Events and Entertainment

Help organise and support Club activities:

• Music events
• Theme nights
• Social events
• Family activities
• Community events

Ideal for members who enjoy meeting people and helping organise activities.

Sporting Activities

Help support sporting activities by:

• Assisting with member competitions
• Supporting league activities
• Helping with online table bookings
• Promoting participation
• Golf Club

Wine Club and Special Interest Groups

Help develop and support member-led activities such as:

• Wine Club
• Craft Groups
• Community Interest Groups
• New ideas suggested by members

You do not need to be an expert—just enthusiastic.

Membership Support

Help new and existing members by:

• Welcoming new members
• Helping members use Club facilities

Club History and Records

Help preserve the Club's heritage by:

• Organising photographs
• Recording Club history
• Collecting memories and stories
• Maintaining archives and records

Finance and Administration

Members with bookkeeping, administration or business experience may be able to assist with:

• Financial review

• Process improvement
• Governance projects
• Record keeping

Technology and Digital Services

For members with technical interests:

• Website development
• Online booking systems

Lottery and Fundraising

The Club has opportunities to develop additional fundraising activities, including:

• Club Lottery administration

Members interested in the future direction of the Club may be able to assist with:
