Join the 500 Club Lottery

The 500 Club Lottery is a simple way for members to support the Club while having the chance to win regular prizes.

Your subscription helps fund prizes and agreed improvements for the benefit of members.

Why the Lottery Exists

The Lottery has three purposes:

  • To provide monthly cash prizes for members
  • To build a member-funded reserve for improvements
  • To strengthen the Club’s financial stability for the long term

All Lottery activity is governed by the approved Lottery Rules, which are available to all members.

Prizes

There are 17 prizes per year:

12 Monthly Prizes 4 Quarterly Prizes 1 Annual prize.

How It Works

  1. Members subscribe using the secure online subscription link.
  2. Paid subscriptions recorded before the published cut-off date are entered into the next draw.
  3. The draw is carried out using an electronic draw service.
  4. Winners are paid by the Club and results are published for members.

Only subscriptions that are paid and verifiable in the Lottery bank account by the cut-off date are eligible for that draw.

Transparency and Trust

Lottery funds are handled in accordance with the Lottery Rules.

  • Subscriptions are recorded and reconciled.
  • Draw entries are verifiable by subscribers.
  • A subscriber can verify if they are a draw winner
  • Subscriber payments are recorded and accounted for by the promoter
  • Lottery funds are identifiable within the Club’s accounts.

Members may collectively propose suggestions for how Lottery funds are used for the benefit of members. All decisions remain subject to Committee approval in accordance with the Rules.

Standing Order or Cash

Subscriptions may also be paid by standing order or cash.
All payments must be received into the designated Lottery bank account with a clear reference before the published cut-off date.
